About M&T Second Fridays
The second Friday of each month, thanks to the generous support of M&T Bank, we stay open late, and admission is free! Immerse yourself in artistic experiences, from captivating exhibition premieres to engaging all-ages art-making sessions, curated screenings, and special programs. Explore the galleries, shop The Museum Store, and enjoy live music. Stop by Roux Soup Bar & Café, serving up a delicious array of soups, sandwiches, and salads.
Celebrate the opening of Valeria Cray: Surface Tension from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. The evening will also feature live jazz by Alex McArthur & Grace Lougen, as well as Poetically Speaking—a film screening and panel discussion with Buffalo Poet Laureate Aitina Fareed-Cooke—held in the Tower Auditorium. The exhibition will remain on view in the Wendt & Doolittle Galleries through September 27, 2026.
